"connectUS", formerly known as "Networking New York" (NWNY), is a project by students for students. It was initiated in the year 2007 by three Business Administration students of the University of Applied Sciences Northwestern Switzerland. This year, connectUS will be organized by Evelyn Bürkli, Olivia Jeup and Gabriela Stefanini. Once again three students in their last year of studies, who are eager to successfully repeat and reinvent connectUS.

The goal of the project remained the same: its ultimate aim is to identify and convey the advantages of professional networking to participants so that they can define and plan their personal strategies. connectUS complements the projects "Focus India" and "Insight China" which have been successfully organized by students of the School of Business since 2001.

The project comprises a one-week preparatory seminar in Olten and a two-week trip to the US.
